Every grand adventure begins with a spark, and for the Frederick Fantasy Festival, that spark ignited in the heart of Western Maryland. It began not with a grand decree, but with a simple longing: to bring the vibrant escapism of fantasy and adventure to life.
The vision was born from a shared love of fantastical realms – the epic tales of dragons and knights, the whimsical allure of fey folk, and the bustling merriment of historical marketplaces.
